VI. Email - Spam Filtering

Can I block messages from specific senders?

Yes. To block messages form specific senders:
1.Double-click the ZSecurity icon in the system tray; the GUI will open.
2.Click the Spam Control tab, then click Advanced.
3.Click Spam Control, then Filtered Senders to the left.
4.Click Add; a dialog box will open.
5.To block an individual sender enter the e-mail address in the address field (John_Doe@spam.com). You can add a description of the sender if you like.
6.To block an entire domain, enter it using an asterisk (*@spam.com)
7.Click OK.

The spam filter may be blocking senders I wish to allow. What can I do?

Just as you can block specific senders or domains, you can also allow them. To allow messages from safe senders:
1.Double-click the ZSecurity icon in the system tray; the GUI will open.
2.Click the Spam Control tab, then click Advanced.
3.Click Spam Control, then Allowed Senders to the left.
4.Click Add; a dialog box will open.
5.To add an individual sender enter the e-mail address in the address field (Jane_Doe@safe.com). You can add a description of the sender if you like.
6.To add an entire domain, enter it using an asterisk (*@safe.com)
