VIII. Contacting Technical Support

I'm having trouble with the software after installation; it doesn't seem to be running properly. Who should I contact?

ZSecurity offers technical support for all its security products. Visit our website at http://www.zsecurity.com to send a support ticket. You can help our support department to better analyze the problem by attaching an FSDIAG file to your ticket.

What is an FSDIAG file, and where can I find it?

An FSDIAG file is one that's generated by ZSecurity to give technical support the specifics of your system set-up, as well as clues about what the problem is and what's causing it. This helps our technicians find a solution to your problem more quickly. To create an FSDIAG file do the following:

1.Click Start.
2.Navigate to the ZSecurity folder and choose Diagnostic Utility
3.When the Diagnostic Utility tool window opens, click OK. The utility will gather the needed information and output it to an FSDIAG on your desktop.
4.Go to the ZSecurity website to file a support ticket. Attach the FSDIAG.TAR or FSDIAG.TAR.GZ to your ticket and send it in. Please be patient while a technician attempts to diagnose your problem. We will contact you when the solution is found.

NOTE: After you submit your support ticket you will receive an automated response form us indicating we have received your ticket. The message will contain the ID number of your support request. Please save this email or the ID number for future communications regarding your support ticket.
